Training Groups:

Gold Caps

Gold cap swimmers are focused on longer distances, conditioning, and stroke technique for USA Swimming competition. This program is designed to be a year round competition program that will allow participants to advance to the upper echelons of competitive swimming, and serves as high quality training for high school swimmers. Gold caps practice for approximatly 90 minutes.

Silver Caps

The silver cap program is an advanced age group (9-14yrs.) competitive swim group for more experienced swimmers. Training intensity is increased, and progam complexity is higher. Swimmers fucus on detailed stroke mechanics and building endurance. Silver cap swimmers practice for approximatly 75 minutes.

Green Caps

The green cap program is an age group (9-14yrs.) competitive swim group for new or younger swimmers. All members must be water safe. The green cap program is designed to focus on stroke technique and race preparation. These athletes are trained for and expected to compete at monthly regional meets, as  the coaches determine that they are ready for competition. Green caps swim for approximatly 70 minutes.

Blue caps

The blue cap program is an introductory program for younger swimmers. All members must be water safe and able to swim 25 yards without stopping. The blue cap program is designed to teach the fundamentals of competative strokes. With a focus on body position and proper stroke motions for freestyle and backstroke. Like all of our groups blue cap swimmers are trained for, and expected to compete once the coaches determine that they are ready for entry level competition. Blue caps swim for appoximatly 50 minutes.
